Understanding how machine learning works

Machine learning is the application in the field of artificial intelligence. It enables the systems to learn automatically and enrich from the experience without having the need to be explicitly programmed. In other words, it automates learning. It builds and develops computer programs that can access data and use the data for learning purposes.
The primary purpose of machine learning is to enhance the learning of the system and make the system automated so that human intervention is kept to a minimal or if possible, no longer required. Machine learning is a big help for many and its applications can benefit a lot of industries such as education, business, engineering, healthcare, and many more.

Dov Kats is one of the persons who is deeply fascinated by modern technology. He is a roboticist and a computer expert. As a matter of fact, he has a masters and Ph.D. degree in computer science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He had his bachelor’s degree in computer science at the Tel-Aviv University in Israel. In his continued pursuit of learning, he moved to the United States.

He was fortunate enough to have his postdoc fellow at the Robotics Institute. He became a senior vision engineer at Oculus, one of the best technology company in the world. His hard work and intelligence paid off as he became the head for computer vision. One of his projects is Oculus Rift VR headset. He is a part of the team who created one of the best virtual reality headsets. Dov Katz was the one who created the original position tracking system. He remained with the company until such time that it was acquired by Facebook for $2 billion both in cash and stocks.

Today, Dov Katz continues to enrich his knowledge of modern technology. He is busy with doing research and patents. His work centers on machine learning, virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and robotics.  He continues to think of ways to make human life easier and more innovative through computers and machines as a whole.
